The board of the directors of the Company, is pleased to confirm that the UK unit of Bureau Veritas, a world-leading provider of testing, inspection, and certification services, has certified that automotive gasoline / petrol fuel with the Company’s SulnoxEco™ Fuel Conditioner added at the recommended level of 1 part per 1000, continues to comply with the European Committee for Standardization’s EN-228 standard. This certification also means that SulNOx meets most US specifications based on tests performed and results obtained.

Following on from the similar diesel certification (announced 20 January 2021), this is a further landmark moment for the SulNOx group. Gasoline/Petrol users of SulnoxEco™ Fuel Conditioner will now also benefit from significantly improved engine and fuel performance whilst retaining any engine warranties that they may hold.

Radu Florescu, CEO, commented, “as an American, I am delighted that the SulNOx proprietary technology has now incorporated gasoline, which is the main fuel used in the US by automobiles, where we see particular opportunities in the SUV/light truck sectors. Around 45% of each barrel of oil is turned into gasoline/petrol so this has the potential to become a very large market indeed for our company. This certification proves our technical team’s expectations that the environmental and fuel benefits enjoyed in Diesel engines are now available to Petrol engines as well.”

Ben Richardson, COO, added, “previously, SulNOx stated that its proprietary technology covered over 30% of the hydrocarbon world, but from today that figure moves to over 70%. The marketplace for the SulNOx products now covers around 11 billion litres of these fuels each and every day. This must be seen as an exciting day for anyone involved in the climate change debate given SulnoxEco™ Fuel Conditioner offers both immediate cost savings and emissions reductions.”
The SulNOxEco™ Fuel Conditioner is produced under licence by Nouryon and the Board is confident that production can be scaled-up as demand requires.
